Walter Häusermann
Consultant Advisor.Mr. Häusermann stepped down as Biopartners Chief Financial Officer in 2009. During his time as CFO, Mr. Häusermann steered the company sucessfully through the aquisition by Bioton together with the CEO Mr Jean-Noël Treilles. Mr. Häusermann remains closely involved with Biopartners in an advisory consultant role. Prior to Biopartners he worked in various capacities for the Swatch Group Ltd., including as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Business Development for the Group’s Calvin Klein Watches division. During his time with the Swatch Group, he focused on [establishing] the Group’s financial control department. In 2000, he was named Finance Director of the Swiss Expo ’02. Mr. Häusermann started his career in 1991 with Credit Suisse Investment Banking. He is a member of the board of directors of Elma Electronics AG and Nebag, each of which is listed on the SWX Swiss Exchange. He is also a member of the board of directors of Crédit Mutuel de la Vallée, Typon Holding AG, Elevator TV AG and Tissa Glasweberei AG. Mr. Häusermann holds a lic.phil.hist degree from the University of Bern in Switzerland and an MSc Finance and Accounting from the London School of Economics in the United Kingdom.
